A lover of words, beats and window seats, Tamara Best is a senior content leader, working at the intersection of media and tech creating dynamic user experiences across products, platforms and everywhere content lives.

As a writer, her work delves into the intersections of culture, identity, and activism within communities of color. Her reporting has taken her everywhere from Paris Fashion Week to underserved communities to tell authentic stories. Her writing and digital work have appeared in several publications including The New York Times, where she served a s a senior staff editor, collaborated on an Emmy-nominated project and received a New York Times Publisher's Award. As an editorial leader, Tamara is an adept strategist known for honing organizational systems and improving culture. Her product work has appeared across Facebook and Instagram, with a focus on amplifying and creating opportunities for creatives of color.

Tamara’s cultural commentary and insight have landed her on stages moderating discussions for Spotify, Showtime, Essence Festival and more.

She currently lives in New York where she is working on a variety of creative projects including her debut play, Hindsbury Hill.
